Filled With Happy!

Hello Crafty Friends!!

Last week Peachy Keen Stamps released
2 new Face stamp sets, Here Kitty Faces and Cherub Faces. I just had to use the super cute Kitty Faces this week, aren't they super cute!!?
I am also super excited this is my first project using my new Cameo! :)

Here is the basic recipe for this card:
8 x 5 1/2 cardstock
5 1/4 x 4 patterned paper
1 x 4 Strip coordinating patterned paper
EK Success Border Punch
Corner Chomper
Sentiment from Peachy Keen A Cherry on Top
Lace Trim

Fold 8 x 5 1/2 cardstock in half. Chomp right side corners with corner chomper. On first layer use border punch on right side, and corner chomp those corners also. Add to card. Next add lace to 1 x 4 strip and add to card. Cut out Kitty (mine was from Silhouette store) and piece together and stamp with the adorable Kitty Face!! Glue together body but leave head off for now, glue body on card and add head using and action wobble (LOVE THESE).
If you would like to add a party hat to the kitty I used scraps to create one! and last but not least stamp sentiment! One thing I love about acrylic stamps is that you can manipulate them into curves to make a fun effect!!

Big Smiles~Happy Birthday!

Hey Crafty Friends! Finally able to get back to crafting..and oh how I missed it! :)

I just love love love the Huge 4" Peachy Keen Stamp Faces and wanted to make a card using just that! They are so CUTE! This card is super quick and easy too!

I started out with an A2 size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2)
The first layer is 4 x 5 1/4 (paper is from DCWV all about you stack)
The second layer is 4 1/4 x 3 (paper came from my scrap bin, not sure what co.! LOL)

Stamp 2nd layer with PKS 4" Happy Lashes Stamp ( I used mouth open stamp)

Layer all pieces on card, add sentiment, I used Happy Birthday from PKS Feb. SOTM

Add embellishments, I used a Doodlebug button and Divine Twine!

Dont you just love those faces!!?

Just for fun! My very first blog post

Hi Crafty Friends just for fun I thought I would share my very first post on my blog, which was posted in 2010!! Funny how you notice little changes you made to your techniques and style!

Hello Friends!
Welcome to my new blog!

Here is my very first project, I have been holding on to this strawbeery box for awhile trying to decide what to do with it! Well here it is, I am going to put some crinkle paper in it and give a big ole cupcake to a birthday girl! Along with this adorable cupcake card of course!!

To cover the container all I did was use scraps of paper...by Jillibean Soup...so love her paper. excellent quality..anywahy i cut the strips just randomly and placed on the box. The "sweet" and scalloped oval are from the fabulous Cricut Cartridge ♥CREATE A CRITTER♥ {I so love that one..can you tell! LOL} The handle was a scrap of Jillibean paper.

The card..well I dug out trust ole ♥Doodlecharms♥ for the cupcake..minus the candle. The scallops were cut from nestablities!!
