DIY Mason Jar/Ball Jar Solar Light

Hello Crafty Friends!
Today is my day to post over at Lovebug Creation!
Today I am sharing something a little different!
Usually I share only my papercrafting projects, but I want to start doing some more DIY post!

I made this one for my Dad, it will be 4 years in July since he has been gone, I miss him dearly. Me and my Dad were very close and we both love "junk" so this old Ball Jar was the perfect choice for my light!

Product used for this project:
Lovebug Creations:
My Creative Time:
May Arts:
Memento Ink:
Tuxedo Black
Cardstock
Mason Jar
Solar Light (cheap at Walmart)
Lid (I ordered mine online, if I don't have a cut out
you will need to cut one)

There are several ways to attach the light to the lid, for this one I tried the double sided tape, that was a struggle for me, it was hard to move and adjust. Next one I am going to try to glue light right to the lid, although no sight suggested that I don't see why it won't work, just make sure to avoid the center where the solar panel is! :)

Each rose is hand-formed and hand-dyed; each has dimensions of  2"x 2" and can be used as is or inked, painted, stickled, and more - your imagination can provide lots of possibilities for these beauties - and they are feather-light so you can create lots of projects from layouts to cards to tags to mixed media creations to 3-D creations and more and not feel there's an anchor on your project, weighing it down!
