Just for fun! My very first blog post

Hi Crafty Friends just for fun I thought I would share my very first post on my blog, which was posted in 2010!! Funny how you notice little changes you made to your techniques and style!

Hello Friends!
Welcome to my new blog!

Here is my very first project, I have been holding on to this strawbeery box for awhile trying to decide what to do with it! Well here it is, I am going to put some crinkle paper in it and give a big ole cupcake to a birthday girl! Along with this adorable cupcake card of course!!

To cover the container all I did was use scraps of paper...by Jillibean Soup...so love her paper. excellent quality..anywahy i cut the strips just randomly and placed on the box. The "sweet" and scalloped oval are from the fabulous Cricut Cartridge ♥CREATE A CRITTER♥ {I so love that one..can you tell! LOL} The handle was a scrap of Jillibean paper.

The card..well I dug out trust ole ♥Doodlecharms♥ for the cupcake..minus the candle. The scallops were cut from nestablities!!

Happy Birthday Rainbow Card!!

Hello Crafty Friends! I have a super fun card for you today!
I just loved the rainbow in the Peachy Keen February SOTM and I have been super anxious to use it! So I finally had the perfect idea, I wanted to layer it!

To start my project I cut a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of cardstock and folded for card base. The Polka dot strips are cut from DCWV All about girls paper pad, I cut them at 1" x 6" and then cut the "banner" cuts layer them on card base and cut according to where I wanted them placed. The Kraft layer underneath the rainbow is cut at 4 1/4 x 2 1/2.

Now onto the Rainbow!!
For the Rainbow I stamped the rainbow 6 times and then each layer I stamped a " different color using the Houndstooth Background from Market Street Stamps, then I cut, inked and layered the pieces on top of each other creating a 3-d effect. I Then stamped the "cloud/beer foam" from the same stamp set and then I just had to add a face from FAVE Peachy Keen Face stamp set "Happy Lashes" The Happy Birthday Sentiment is from PKS Feb. SOTM!

Then the finishing touches. Add Faux stitching, my fave pen for this is the Gelly Roll Pen, then add buttons! What a fun super cute card! Who doesn't love Rainbows and clouds? :)

Good Luck Treat Bag

Hey Crafty Friends! Only 8 more days til St. Patty's Day! I thought it would be fun this year to give my nieces and nephews some little St. Patty's Treats to bring them GOOD LUCK! ;)

For this treat bag I purchased these Kraft Bags at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 off!
I dug threw my scrap box and found all the greens I had! I cut A scallop circle from the Nestabilities Dies. Scallop punch was a reminisce one I had purchased on clearance at Michaels (sorry I dont know name of punch)

Now I just need a cute little Shamrock...hmmm where can I find that! Peachy Keens Feb. SOTM of course! SO SUPER CUTE!

These would be so adorable filled with gold coin chocolate candy!!

Here is my treat bag!
