Take Out Treat Box-Crafty Sprouts!

Hey everyone! Can't believe we are so close to Christmas already! Are you all ready? If you need some quick little treat boxes take a look at my project today! I found these adorable glittery take out boxes in the Target Dollar Section ( I think Michaels carries them also)! I cut out snowflakes using my cricut ( it was from a solutions cartridge..sorry forgot the name lol), add an adorable Peachy Keen face stamp, some bling and of course a sweet sentiment from Crafty Sprouts Stamps, I added the sentiment using a Tim Holtz memo pin,

and tied a bow with Some Twinery Twine!!!

Thats it quick and simple..just add treats and your ready to give!!

Onto my project and giveaway! I used a clear glass bulb for this but any round ornie will do!

HOME altered tag!

Hey crafty friends! Sorry so late..internet has been down all day :( ..anyway Today I am super excited to share this project with you! Today is DT day for ScrapaliciousUSA! Today our challenge is to use 2 pattern papers, 2 embellishments and 2 or your choice.. I have been wanting to try a tag for awhile and I am really happy with the way this turned out! The paper I used is from Bo Bunny Welcome Home Collection (a 6x6 paper pad is only $4.75!!!!) Come over and join the challenge!!

Thanksgiving Place Card {Scrapalicious Challenge}

Hello Crafty Friends! Today is DT Day over at ScrapaliciousUSA! You know what that means! There is a CHALLENGE! This weeks Challenge was to create a Thanksgiving themed project! Today I decided to make a place card perfect for Thanksgiving Dinner! The base is cut form Nestablities Die Lacey Squares, I made the placecard by folding paper in half and running through cuttlebug! The first layer is cut from Bo Bunny Forever Fall 6x6 Paper Pad (which is a FAVE and its only $4.50 at ScrapaliciousUSA!). The Turkey was cut from Simply Charmed..SO CUTE! and the sentiment is from Pink By Design!

Hey Crafty Friends! Last night while chatting with my Friend Raven (from Love 4 stamps..check out her blog she is amazing!) we challenged each other to create something SHABBY CHIC! hmmmm I love the look of Shabby Chic..but did I have what I needed to make something? Well I did! This is what I came up with ( Raven I didnt even have to visit fabric store!! LOL)! What a great gift for a crafty friend!

Its also a great idea that if you find yourself in a slump...call up a friend and challenge each other to something fun and different!

Ribbon is from Joanns (it comes on the little spools for .99)

and of course the base is from Kraft Cardstock (MY FAVE!!) from Hobby Lobby!

So sorry I didnt get my project up I had a horrible cold all weekend. Thanks for all the Well Wishes for my Nephew Jayden. Everything seems to be healing great..cleaning the burn areas is the worst part. He is back to being active and fun loving little boy! I would like to apologize for not having a project ready, we had a family emergency last night, my little nephew was playing and hit the table and knocked over his cousins soup his hand, underarm and belly got burnt..took him to ER 2 were 2nd degree burns so they transferred him to Detroit Childrens Hospital. So its been a nervewracking day and a 1/2. He came home tonight, it was and is an emotional time, it was so hard to see him in pain and not be able to help. I will try to get my project finished and up soon..so please check back!

Treat Holder {tic Tac}

Hello Crafters..late post today, I have been without internet since Wed Night...Yes I have been having withdrawls! LOL

This week over a Crafty Sprouts we had to make a treat holder, I decided to make one to cover tic tacs..my Nieces FAVE! This was real simple I just measured the container and cut, then decorated! Thats it! I turned mine on its side, I wanted to make a little "purse"!

From the Xander Zone Blog Hop and Auction

Our dear friend Betty Roberts, owner of Simply Betty Stamps has just found out this week that her 17 year old son Christian has Stage 1 Throat Cancer. He will be having surgery next week and many months of Therapy to follow. (To read more from Betty on what’s going on please go HERE)

I found this basket at my local thrift and thought it would be perfect to fill with some goodies to give to a great friend..but of course it was too plain and just screaming for some paper! LOL

Hello Crafty Friends! Today is a guest designing day for me at Crafty Sprouts! FYI she is having a call for Designers and Guest Designers!

Now onto my card..I have been trying new things..and just having fun!

I used printed dictionary paper and inked with Tea Dye distress ink then punched little hearts sing post it paper and stuck them on the paper..then inked with Weathered wood stain then spritzed with glimmermist..and I finally used one of my doilies! :)
