Pink Cricut DT Week! Butterfly Kisses

Its DT week at Pink Cricut!
This week I wanted to show that the stamps can be used for Home Decor!

I made this adorable mobile that would be great in a Nursery or Little girls room.
For this project I used a great new product, that I just have to rave about...it cut my project time in 1/2 and that product is Post It adhesive backed paper by 3M! This is a must have..it inks well, embosses great and if you want to add glitter..cut image in reverse and apply glitter or flock to adhesive back..easy peasy, no messes with glue!

For this project I cut butterflies from Hello Kitty at 2 1/2 and 1 3/4 out of thin chipboard..I used cereal box. Then cut layers out of Post It paper. Inked and Emboss pieces. Assemble butterflies. Add twine and ribbon to stick. Attach Butterflies, Stamp "Butterfly Kisses" Stamp on circle {stamp is from Pink Cricuts GO GREEN set}..there you have a super cute mobile!

Don't Forget to check out the other great projects by Sarah and the other Pink Cricut Designer!

  6. This is so adorable. The glitter tip is fun...How'd you attach the butterflies to the string? Are they colorful on both sides? Bet you could secure the string between two made with the Post-it paper holding it together. The bows on the top and between the butterflies adds so much! thanks for sharing.

  7. I really like your butterflies mobile. I showed this to my daughter and she wants to make one for her friend that is having a baby girl in October. Thank you for sharing your project and the inspiration.
